The Deathly Feast
Yu Shan's stare pinned Han Yan down as she smiled faintly, her voice as pleasant and honeyed as a warbler straight out of the valley: "Younger sister, do you think this older sister looks beautiful in this wedding dress?
Han Yan's lips moved, but nothing came out. Yu Shan then covered Han Yan's mouth and chuckled again: "Look at me, I've nearly forgotten the important matter." As she turned around, the two maids following behind her immediately presented a white jade tray with a small pot and two wine goblets in the center.
"What is this?"
"The wine gifted by His Majesty." Yu Shan held up the wine pot and poured a cup of wine for her, "Younger sister, you must drink it quickly, if this concubine misses her bridal chamber candle of the concubine and His Highness, you will be blamed."
